Ultimately, I love to travel and that is the reason I became a
travel agent and started my company, Travel by Karen. I am
a wife and the mother of 2, a daughter and son and live in
Fairfax, VA.
My absolute favorite vacations have been any of my
Caribbean vacations including Scuba Diving and Cruises.
The Caribbean destinations I have vacationed include: The
British Virgin Islands (Tortola- twice), St Lucia, Dominica,
Bonaire (twice), Caymen Brac, Belize and Cozumel (twice).
As of July 2007, I can now add Hawaii to the tropical
Paradises that I have vacationed to. My family and I visited
Maui and Oahu.

I have always found cruising to be a great way to discover future vacations destinations. I have
been on 4 Caribbean Cruises and have had the opportunity to visit so many ports of call
including: St Thomas, St John's, Aruba, Martinique, St Maarten, Dominica, Barbados, Grand
Caymen, Cozumel/Cancun, Costa Maya, Belize, San Juan and Jamacia.
With the training I have done I am a Royal Caribbean WOW! Expert and a First Officer with
Princess Cruise Lines. I am on currently on track to become an Accredited Cruise Counsellor
with high hopes of continueing my accreditation to a Master Cruise Counsellor.

Scuba diving is, by far, what I plan my vacations around. The
clear blue waters of the tropical Caribbean are just so inviting, no
mater which destination I visit. With my diving adventures I have
experienced so many different types of diving including drift
diving, wrecks, caverns, deep diving, reef walls, even the "Deep
Blue Hole" in Belize. And so much sea life to see...moray eels,
Angel fish, sea horses, sharks, rays, frog fish, squid, turtles, the
list goes on and on. I live for my next diving vacation.
